The app: your garage's data stays on your PCProgramma: jūsu servisa dati paliek jūsu datorā

GearBear has no accounts and no cloud. Customers, vehicles, appointments, job cards and backups are stored only on the computer where it runs (or in its own folder, when you use the portable version). ImpatientBeastStudios never receives them.GearBear nav kontu un nav mākoņa. Klienti, auto, pieraksti, darba kartes un rezerves kopijas tiek glabāti tikai datorā, kurā programma darbojas (vai tās mapē, ja izmantojat pārnēsājamo versiju). ImpatientBeastStudios tos nekad nesaņem.

The app's only network access is the update check: at start and every 12 hours it downloads one small file, latest.json, from this website to see whether a newer version exists. It sends nothing about you or your garage. You can switch it off in Settings → General → Updates. When you choose Update now, the new version is downloaded from GitHub and checked against its checksum before it is installed. To var izslēgt sadaļā Iestatījumi → Vispārīgi → Atjauninājumi.

The app never shows ads.Programma nekad nerāda reklāmas.

The website has no accounts and no forms, and it does not set cookies of its own. Your language choice is saved in your browser so the site opens in the same language next time. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. Installers are downloaded from GitHub, which has its own privacy policy.

Advertising on the website (Google AdSense)Reklāma vietnē (Google AdSense)

GearBear is free. To help cover its costs, the website shows ads from Google AdSense: one after the list of features and one at the bottom of the page.
